The ECG and respiratory signals are obtained by means of unobtrusive sensors made of yarns that are fully integrated into the textile structure of the garment. Posture and movements are monitored through the use of a tri-axial accelerometer, which is embedded into a small electronic device.
The electronics device, which also powers, records and streams acquired data, is conveniently inserted into a hidden pocket on the shirt. The light weight and size of the electronic module allow a user to easily forget that it is there.
The WWS system is elegantly designed and offers an high level of comfort which make it a perfect solution for long term monitoring of physiological parameters. Live streaming data may be visualized and recorded in real-time, or downloaded directly off the electronics module via USB connection.
VivoSense® software and HRV module provide further detailed off-line analysis capabilities, that are directly compatible with the Smartex Wearable Wellness System.
